Professor Langellier teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in performance studies--how people engage in speech play and performance and what happens when they do. She also teaches courses in communication theory and is a faculty in Women's Studies and Franco-American Studies. Her research, using phenomenological and feminist methodologies, focuses on personal narrative, especially women's storytelling, family storytelling, and the politics of storytelling.
